Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and in-person for hardware/software issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop systems and peripherals
- Document incidents, resolutions, and asset information in ITSM systems
- Collaborate with senior technicians on network infrastructure and security protocols
- Participate in cross-departmental projects to enhance organizational efficiency
- Develop troubleshooting skills through hands-on lab exercises and shadowing
- Adhere to ITIL best practices and company security policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+) preferred
- Basic understanding of Windows/macOS operating systems and networking concepts
- Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in team environments
- Valid Alaska driver's license (required for occasional site visits)
- Willingness to complete company-sponsored training programs
