Responsibilities
- End-User Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for Tier 2/3 IT support, resolving hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and remote access tools.
- System Administration: Manage and maintain computer systems, including Windows 10/11, macOS, and Linux environments. Configure workstations and peripherals.
- Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues, VPN problems, and firewall configuration errors to ensure business continuity.
- Asset Management: Track hardware inventory, perform regular audits, and manage the lifecycle of company devices from procurement to decommissioning.
- Security Compliance: Assist in implementing IT security protocols, ensuring data protection measures are in place, and managing software patching.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical logs, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for internal teams.
Qualifications
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent IT certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional IT support or help desk experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in troubleshooting Windows and macOS operating systems, Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, and common productivity tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of diagnosing root causes of technical failures.
- Availability: Ability to work occasional on-call hours and weekends as needed for critical infrastructure maintenance.
