Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and remote access tools.
- Manage and maintain the company inventory of IT assets, including laptops, monitors, and peripherals.
- Configure and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and office productivity software.
- Monitor and respond to alerts from ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Management, Zendesk) to ensure timely resolution of service tickets.
- Conduct onboarding sessions for new hires, setting up their workstations and explaining internal policies.
- Collaborate with the network engineering team to diagnose and resolve connectivity and infrastructure issues.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in the knowledge base to improve future support efficiency.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration and Active Directory.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical scenarios under pressure.
- Superior communication skills, capable of translating technical jargon into plain language for non-technical staff.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites within the Seattle metro area as needed.
