Responsibilities
- Tier 2/3 Support: Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and remote desktop tools.
- Ticket Management: Log, track, and resolve helpdesk tickets in our service management platform (e.g., Jira Service Desk) efficiently.
- Hardware Deployment: Set up, configure, and deploy new workstations, printers, and mobile devices for employees.
- Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues, Wi-Fi problems, and firewall configuration queries.
- User Training: Conduct training sessions and create documentation to educate staff on new software updates and security protocols.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine system updates, patch management, and antivirus scans to maintain system integrity.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Systems Administrator to improve IT infrastructure and processes.
Qualifications
- Certification: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networking.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a track record of resolving complex technical issues.
- Flexibility: Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends for system maintenance windows.
- Education: Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
