Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and remote access tools.
- Manage and maintain the company’s IT inventory, including laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows 10/11, macOS) and productivity software (Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace).
- Assist in the deployment of new workstations and the migration of data to ensure seamless transitions for employees.
- Monitor system performance and security alerts, responding promptly to potential threats or outages.
- Collaborate with the Network Engineering team to improve infrastructure reliability and user experience.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and processes in the ticketing system to maintain a knowledge base.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support, Help Desk, or a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and basic network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- CompTIA A+ certification is a significant plus.
