Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure (Linux and Windows Server environments).
- Monitor system performance, security, and availability to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Implement and manage backup solutions, disaster recovery plans, and patch management strategies.
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
- Collaborate with the development and security teams to ensure system integrity and compliance.
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex technical issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Administrator.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) and Windows Server.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and networking protocols.
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently or in a team setting.
