The Opportunity
As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will act as the guardian of our digital assets. You will leverage advanced monitoring tools to detect anomalies, investigate potential breaches, and implement proactive security measures to protect our clients' sensitive data.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs to ensure secure network architecture.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks for rapid threat containment.
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulations (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NIST).
- Collaborate with IT operations and software engineering teams to patch vulnerabilities and secure software deployments.
- Provide security training and awareness to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a similar IT role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and security architecture.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, endpoint protection (EDR), and threat intelligence feeds.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder management.
