In this role, you will be the first line of defense for our organization's technical needs, ensuring business continuity and user satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote desktop tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware (laptops, printers, monitors) and software (OS, applications, antivirus) issues.
- Manage and prioritize incoming help desk tickets within our service management software (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk).
- Perform regular system updates, patch management, and hardware maintenance.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement technical solutions and improve service delivery processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all incidents, resolutions, and technical configurations.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience in a Help Desk or IT Support role.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, and Active Directory.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work on-site in Charlotte, NC.
