In this role, you will be the first point of contact for technical inquiries, acting as a bridge between our users and our technical infrastructure. You will diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity for our staff. Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and in-person to a diverse user base.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows, macOS) and productivity software.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security access within Active Directory.
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and patch management.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and steps taken in the Help Desk ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the IT infrastructure team to improve service delivery and resolve complex escalations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in a Help Desk or Technical Support role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
