Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, and sustainable energy sectors
- Develop long-term technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from diverse industry experts and thought leaders
- Produce strategic reports and executive briefings on emerging technologies and their potential impact
- Advise leadership on technology investments, partnerships, and M&A opportunities
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, researchers, and innovation pioneers
- Integrate foresight methodologies into product development and corporate strategy processes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., AI ethics, quantum applications, climate tech)
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Strong presentation and communication skills with executive presence
- Experience with scenario planning, Delphi techniques, and other foresight methodologies
- Portfolio of published research or thought leadership on future technologies
