Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight strategy aligned with global market trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions (Web4, AGI frameworks, climate tech)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for early R&D access
- Present technology roadmaps to executive leadership and board stakeholders quarterly
- Author thought leadership pieces on emerging tech disruption and future-proofing business models
- Manage a $5M annual innovation budget for experimental projects
- Mentor a team of 3 futurist associates in trend analysis and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or hypergrowth startups
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, decentralized AI)
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products with $100M+ revenue impact
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Published author in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in scenario modeling tools (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, custom Python frameworks)
- Global network of tech innovators and academic researchers
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
