Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to map 2026+ scenarios
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to integrate future insights into product roadmaps and business strategies
- Author high-impact foresight reports and present findings to stakeholders including board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Champion innovation culture by identifying disruptive opportunities and market inflection points
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proofing methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, consulting, or futurist role with tech sector focus
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations
- Ability to synthesize complex data into compelling narratives and actionable plans
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP) preferred
