Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal trends through 2030
- Develop and maintain innovation roadmaps aligned with corporate objectives and market evolution
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership on future business environments
- Author thought leadership publications and present at industry conferences
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into development cycles
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption
- Build and manage a network of futurists, academics, and industry experts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years in strategy, innovation, or technology foresight roles
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial strategies
- Expertise in AI, biotechnology, or quantum computing ecosystems
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven trend identification capabilities
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or Foresight Practitioners)
- Published work in futures research or technology innovation
