Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive threats and market opportunities for 2026+
- Produce quarterly trend reports with data-backed recommendations for executive decision-making
- Partner with product teams to embed future-ready principles into innovation pipelines
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at industry conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists in advanced forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, corporate foresight, or technology innovation
- Proven expertise in emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or major industry publications
- Fluency in strategic foresight tools (STEEP, Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on long-term transformation
- Portfolio demonstrating trend prediction accuracy (≥85% within 3-year windows)
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
