- Lead cross-functional teams in translating future insights into actionable product roadmaps and business strategies
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and innovation hubs to pioneer emerging technologies
- Present visionary insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling narratives and data visualizations
- Drive the innovation lifecycle from ideation to commercialization, ensuring alignment with market evolution
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate organizational foresight capabilities across departments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in innovation strategy, technology forecasting, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial products or organizational transformation
- Expertise in foresight methodologies including Delphi technique, cross-impact analysis, and trend extrapolation
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, nanotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-suite and executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating complex scenario planning projects and trend analysis deliverables
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar institution)
