Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify and prioritize emerging technologies with transformative potential through 2030
- Develop and maintain the organization's innovation roadmap, aligning with long-term strategic objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable R&D initiatives
- Produce trend reports and scenario analyses for executive decision-making and investor communications
- Build and manage an external network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks for emerging technologies including AI, quantum, and neurotech
- Represent the organization at global forums on future-shaping technologies and policy implications
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Strong presentation and communication skills for diverse audiences from technical to C-level
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field preferred
