Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological convergence points
- Lead scenario planning workshops for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech disruption
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen human augmentation interfaces
- Analyze global tech policy shifts and regulatory implications for emerging markets
- Establish KPI frameworks measuring innovation velocity and market adoption curves
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members on future-proofing initiatives
- Mentor cross-functional teams in design thinking and speculative methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record translating futuristic concepts into commercial products
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, decentralized AI, or climate modeling
- Published thought leadership in futurism or tech innovation (TED Talks, MIT Press, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in foresight frameworks (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, STEEP analysis)
- Experience securing $5M+ innovation budgets from executive stakeholders
