This role sits at the intersection of technology, sociology, and market dynamics, requiring a blend of analytical rigor and creative foresight.
As a key member of our Innovation Council, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and global partners to shape products and services that will define the next decade. You'll lead scenario-planning initiatives, identify disruptive opportunities, and ensure our organization remains ahead of the curve in an accelerating world.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptors through 2026+
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership and cross-functional teams
- Design innovation roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainability trends
- Facilitate cross-disciplinary workshops with researchers, engineers, and business units
- Produce trend reports and white papers that influence product development and corporate strategy
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business recommendations
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futures research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning skills with data-driven decision-making
- Strong communication ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience working with C-suite executives and influencing organizational strategy
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic frameworks
