Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neural interfaces) and societal shifts to identify strategic opportunities through 2026
- Develop multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption timelines
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable product development
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-proofing into corporate strategy
- Produce trend reports and scenario-planning frameworks for executive stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists and establish thought leadership through industry publications
- Manage $2M+ innovation incubation budget for prototype development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or equivalent experience (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, product development, or futures consulting
- Proven track record of predicting tech adoption curves with documented impact
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic roadmaps
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (preferred)
