Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks using predictive analytics and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype breakthrough solutions for climate resilience and human augmentation
- Establish partnerships with quantum computing and neurotech research institutions
- Author white papers and thought leadership content on ethical AI governance and post-scarcity economics
- Design corporate innovation incubators for emerging technologies (Web4.0, synthetic biology, space commerce)
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board members with actionable implementation plans
- Mentor junior futurists and build a global network of domain experts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field with 8+ years in strategic innovation
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and trend impact analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP-V, cross-impact matrices)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (IEEE, Harvard Business Review)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation initiatives with measurable ROI
