Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for C-suite decision-making
- Facilitate trend workshops with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Author quarterly trend briefs and scenario-planning documents
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate emerging startups
- Represent company at global futurist forums and tech summits
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, biotech)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Proficiency in foresight tools (horizon scanning, Delphi, scenario planning)
- Experience with global tech ecosystems and regulatory landscapes
