Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain horizon-scanning frameworks to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts relevant to 2026
- Produce strategic foresight reports and scenario analyses for executive decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product roadmaps
- Establish innovation partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks
- Quantify future market opportunities and risks using predictive analytics
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and stakeholders
- Monitor geopolitical trends and regulatory changes impacting future business landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Policy, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven experience with horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for complex future scenarios
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Thinking preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or scenario planning projects
- Ability to translate abstract future concepts into actionable business strategies
