- Identify emerging tech trends and assess commercial viability for enterprise adoption
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and investor boards
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate innovation culture across departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with proven impact at Fortune 100 companies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI ethics, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience managing global innovation teams and cross-cultural stakeholders
