Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological shifts in AI, biotech, and quantum systems
- Develop and maintain 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption potential
- Conduct competitive intelligence analysis to identify strategic technology acquisition targets
- Partner with R&D to prioritize research initiatives with exponential ROI potential
- Present technology strategies to C-suite and board stakeholders with compelling data-driven narratives
- Build cross-functional coalitions to accelerate emerging technology adoption
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical implications of breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of launching futuristic technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Certifications in innovation management (e.g., CIMP, CEIM) or technology foresight
- Deep understanding of exponential technology curves and market adoption models
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend extrapolation
