Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into actionable initiatives
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and innovation accelerators
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Drive innovation governance frameworks balancing risk and opportunity
- Mentor junior strategists in future-tech methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with 80%+ accuracy
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Innovation
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven scenario modeling
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical storytelling
- Experience scaling technology roadmaps from concept to market launch
- Professional certifications in strategic foresight or innovation management preferred
