Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with emerging trends and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, neuromorphic computing, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies with venture capital partnership potential
- Architect scalable frameworks for ethical AI deployment and quantum security protocols
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on technology evolution trajectories
- Drive innovation through university partnerships and government grant initiatives
- Mentor junior strategists in future-focused methodologies and foresight techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (3+ successful launches)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic systems, or climate-tech AI
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE) or equivalent industry impact
- Experience securing $5M+ in government/venture funding for R&D initiatives
- Proficiency in futures analysis frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, scenario planning)
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for global partnership expansion
