Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026 technology strategy aligned with global market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology)
- Identify and evaluate breakthrough innovations through patent analysis, academic research, and startup scouting
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven insights
- Build partnerships with leading research institutions and venture capital firms
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption
- Manage an annual $5M innovation portfolio with ROI-focused KPIs
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech commercialization
- Proven track record of launching at least 2 paradigm-shifting products/services
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, energy)
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD) or equivalent experience
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems and scenarios
- Experience leading global teams across 5+ time zones
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
- Security clearance eligibility for government partnerships
