Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with emerging market trends and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI governance, and sustainable tech
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ market potential
- Develop patent strategies for novel technology applications in climate tech and biotechnology
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future tech vision into corporate strategy
- Present strategic frameworks to investors and industry stakeholders at global tech forums
- Mentor innovation teams in agile development of prototype solutions for next-gen challenges
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership within Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Deep expertise in futures methodologies, scenario planning, and technology impact assessment
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Published thought leadership on tech ethics or sustainable innovation in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience securing $50M+ in R&D funding for experimental technology projects
- Strong network within DARPA, IEEE, or similar innovation ecosystems
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python, Rust, or equivalent) and data visualization tools
