Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies with 3-7 year commercialization potential
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation initiatives and R&D investments
- Establish partnerships with research labs and academic institutions
- Present technology foresight to executive stakeholders and boards
- Build and mentor a team of technology futurists
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory developments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: AI, quantum computing, biotech, or space tech
- Advanced degree in relevant technical field or MBA
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong network within global technology research communities
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills
- Published thought leadership in technology publications
