Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for market viability and strategic alignment
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients across healthcare, finance, and manufacturing sectors
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and data scientists to prototype future solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Monitor global tech trends and competitor innovations to maintain competitive advantage
- Secure $5M+ in annual R&D funding through compelling business cases
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford research labs on next-generation breakthroughs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in future-tech roles
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record launching AI/quantum solutions in enterprise environments
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (neurotech, fusion energy, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Certifications in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) or Technology Forecasting
- Published research in peer-reviewed tech journals or major conferences
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or German for global stakeholder engagement
