Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to define strategic innovation pathways
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead high-impact R&D projects in partnership with Silicon Valley's top research institutions
- Present visionary technology strategies to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Build and mentor a team of futurist researchers and technology architects
- Secure patents and IP for breakthrough innovations with legal team
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future tech into commercial solutions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic tech roles with proven 2026+ tech roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum/AI/biotech/neurotech
- Track record of launching disruptive technologies from concept to market
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Strong network with global research institutions and venture capital
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies and horizon scanning tools
