Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI, biotech, etc.) targeting 2026 commercialization
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends and assess their market viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating future tech solutions
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical technology adoption and risk mitigation
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting tech innovation landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI/ML, blockchain, or biotechnology
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience developing ethical frameworks for disruptive technologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or innovation
