Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech) to identify strategic opportunities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortiums
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical implications of disruptive technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
- Expertise in at least two of: AI governance, biotech convergence, or sustainable tech
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or Business preferred
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Exceptional communication abilities for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
