Responsibilities
- Lead R&D projects targeting 2026 technology horizons (quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, climate AI)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype and commercialize emerging technologies
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers in cutting-edge methodologies
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough innovations with 20+ filings/year
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 5+ years of research experience
- Demonstrated expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum ML, AGI safety, or bio-convergence)
- Publication record in top-tier journals/conferences (NeurIPS, Science, Nature)
- Experience securing government/industry research grants ($500K+ projects)
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit)
