Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution forecasts
- Lead research initiatives in quantum computing, neural interfaces, and sustainable AI
- Partner with C-suite executives to align tech investments with business objectives
- Manage cross-functional teams executing prototype development and pilot programs
- Conduct competitive analysis of emerging technologies and regulatory landscapes
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders through data-driven narratives
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons and cross-departmental ideation sessions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in future-tech roles
- Proven expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, bio-AI, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $5M annually
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies (IEEE, ACM, etc.)
- Strong background in ethical tech frameworks and sustainable innovation
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
