Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in quantum, biotech, and AI convergence
- Conduct scenario planning for geopolitical and climate-related tech disruptions
- Author white papers and thought leadership on ethical tech adoption for 2026
- Partner with venture capital arms to evaluate emerging startups in future-tech domains
- Design governance frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI symbiosis
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors and executive committees
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic planning with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching products with 3+ year development cycles
- Deep expertise in futures research methodologies and horizon scanning
- PhD or equivalent in Technology Strategy, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with regulatory frameworks for autonomous systems (FDA, FAA, FCC)
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools like Kepner-Tregoe or Shell's Method
- Certification in Quantum Computing Architecture (IBM Qiskit or similar)
