Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, generative AI)
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscaping for next-gen innovations
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget for experimental projects
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Stanford Future Science Institute on joint research initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications on technology convergence trends
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in tech strategy, R&D, or product innovation at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of launching cutting-edge products (quantum/AI projects highly valued)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (blockchain, biotech, AR/VR convergence)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems and scenarios
- Strong presentation skills with experience influencing executive decision-making
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar advanced credential preferred
