Responsibilities
- Develop 2026-2030 technology roadmaps aligning with quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate tech innovations
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and scale breakthrough solutions in AR/VR and decentralized systems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align tech strategy with business objectives and ESG goals
- Secure $5M+ in strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Present findings to the board and at global tech summits including Web Summit and CES
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proof methodologies and ethical tech deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership with proven impact on 5+ year roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, generative AI, or carbon capture tech
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies (IEEE, Nature, or ACM journals)
- Track record of securing $3M+ in innovation grants or corporate partnerships
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- Experience presenting at Davos, TED, or equivalent high-impact forums
- Fluency in strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and simulation modeling tools
