Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and usability issues
- Document detailed bug reports using JIRA with clear reproduction steps and severity levels
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes in sprints
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing on web and mobile applications
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Maintain comprehensive test documentation and update test scripts as requirements evolve
- Perform regression testing on new builds to ensure existing functionality remains intact
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in software QA testing or relevant internship experience
- Proficiency with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management systems
- Familiarity with software development lifecycles and agile methodologies
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines
- Basic knowledge of SQL and/or scripting languages (Python, JavaScript) preferred
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation
- Flexibility to adjust working hours (evenings/weekends) for critical releases
