Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues across desktops, laptops, and network infrastructure
- Provide Tier 1 customer support via phone, chat, and in-person assistance
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and business applications
- Document technical procedures and maintain knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with senior engineers on network security protocols and compliance
- Participate in system upgrades, patch management, and asset inventory
- Train end-users on new technologies and best practices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in IT preferred
- Basic knowledge of Windows/macOS, networking fundamentals, and hardware components
- Customer service experience with strong problem-solving abilities
- CompTIA A+ certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Flexible schedule availability including evenings/weekends
