Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance trading systems for equity options derivatives
- Implement real-time risk management algorithms for complex option strategies
- Optimize low-latency order execution engines handling 10,000+ transactions/sec
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to translate financial models into production code
- Develop monitoring tools for market volatility and position analytics
- Conduct rigorous testing and debugging of trading algorithms in live market conditions
- Document technical specifications and contribute to system architecture improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 4+ years of experience in C++/Java/Python development for financial systems
- Expertise in multithreading, concurrency, and high-frequency trading architectures
- Deep understanding of equity options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial Trees)
- Experience with FIX protocol and market data feeds (Bloomberg, Refinitiv)
- Strong problem-solving skills in real-time, high-stakes environments
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts while maintaining rapid response times
