Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software applications for equity options trading and risk management.
- Perform system maintenance, troubleshooting, and patch deployment during weekend shifts to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Analyze market data feeds and optimize algorithms for improved pricing accuracy and execution speed.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to back-test and refine options pricing models.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and unit testing to ensure robustness and security.
- Monitor system health and performance metrics, responding immediately to any anomalies.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, specifically within the financial services or fintech sector.
- Strong proficiency in C++, Python, and SQL.
- Deep understanding of equity options and derivatives pricing models (Black-Scholes, Monte Carlo simulation).
- Experience working in Linux environments and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively during the weekend shift.
