Key Responsibilities
- Market Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of equity options data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for arbitrage.
- Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to visualize trading performance and market metrics.
- Risk Management: Collaborate with the risk management team to assess exposure and stress-test trading strategies based on historical and real-time data.
- Data Engineering: Build and optimize ETL pipelines to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery for analysis.
- Model Validation: Assist in validating options pricing models (e.g., Black-Scholes, Binomial) against market data to ensure pricing accuracy.
- Strategic Reporting: Produce high-level strategic reports for senior management, translating complex data into clear, concise narratives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the financial services, options trading, or derivatives sector.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (Advanced), Python or R, and data visualization tools (Tableau/PowerBI).
- Financial Knowledge: Solid understanding of equity options, greeks, and trading mechanics.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and derive meaningful insights.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
