What You Will Do:
As a Junior Analyst, you will support our senior team in processing complex market data, visualizing trends, and ensuring data integrity for our trading strategies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, cleaning, and formatting of equity options market data.
- Support the creation of data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Monitor daily market movements and update internal databases with relevant metrics.
- Conduct preliminary statistical analysis to identify patterns in equity options pricing.
- Prepare weekly reports for the trading desk and management team.
- Collaborate with the IT team to optimize data pipelines and reporting workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong interest in financial markets, specifically equity options and derivatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Basic knowledge of SQL or Python is a strong plus but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn new software quickly.
