Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions in accordance with coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, and marketing) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Participate in agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code to ensure scalability and ease of maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Contribute to technical documentation and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development lifecycle.
- Engage in code reviews to provide constructive feedback and learn from peers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, or C#).
- Understanding of basic data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) is a plus but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be willing to relocate to Oakland, CA and possess a valid driver’s license.
