In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust security frameworks that safeguard our infrastructure against sophisticated cyber threats. You will lead incident response efforts and ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced cybersecurity architectures and defense-in-depth strategies.
- Lead and conduct regular penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and red team exercises.
- Oversee incident response procedures and coordinate with external stakeholders during security breaches.
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and perform forensic analysis.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security best practices into the SDLC.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ are strongly required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, information security analysis, or a related role.
- Deep understanding of network security, encryption standards, and threat intelligence.
- Proven experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting.
- Ability to travel occasionally for client sites or security conferences.
