We are a premier quantitative trading firm seeking ambitious, entry-level Software Engineers to join our Wichita-based team. Responsibilities
- Develop & Optimize: Write and maintain high-performance C++ and Python code for our core trading engines and risk management systems.
- System Architecture: Assist in the design and implementation of scalable microservices that handle massive volumes of equity options data.
- Market Analysis: Collaborate with quantitative analysts to translate market data (equity options, volatility surfaces) into actionable software features.
- Testing & QA: Conduct rigorous unit and integration testing to ensure system stability and minimal latency during live market hours.
- Debugging: Diagnose and resolve complex performance bottlenecks in distributed systems.
- Documentation: Create technical documentation and code reviews to mentor junior team members.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (Graduates encouraged).
- Programming: Strong proficiency in C++, Python, and experience with Linux environments.
- Algorithms: Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
- Finance Interest: Basic understanding of financial markets, specifically equity options, derivatives, or algorithmic trading concepts.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and think critically under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
