Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and access points
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues using diagnostic tools
- Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance procedures
- Provide technical support for end-users via ticketing system and remote assistance
- Assist with network security protocols and vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure upgrades and expansions
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incident response
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred but not required)
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification (or commitment to obtain within 6 months)
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and OSI model
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in server environments
- Valid Colorado driver's license for occasional client site visits
