What You Will Do:
As a Data Analyst Trainee, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable business insights. You will work closely with senior analysts to support key projects and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, cleaning, and preprocessing of large datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Create compelling visualizations and interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to track key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with the analytics team to interpret complex data sets and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Perform basic statistical analysis and generate weekly/monthly reports to support business planning.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data that can lead to process improvements.
- Document data processes and maintain up-to-date knowledge of analytical tools and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in data sets.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) is required.
- Basic understanding of SQL or willingness to learn.
- Willingness to relocate to Nashville, TN (Relocation assistance provided).
