Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, organize, and clean large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create clear, concise, and interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Trend Analysis: Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in business data to support strategic initiatives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with product managers and marketing teams to translate complex data into understandable insights and actionable recommendations.
- Database Maintenance: Assist in maintaining our data warehouse and ensuring that documentation is up to date.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits of data pipelines and reporting processes to identify and rectify errors.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) is required; familiarity with SQL or Python is a strong plus.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and the ability to spot discrepancies in data sets.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Tools: Willingness to learn and master new data analytics tools and software quickly.
